Minimum repayments

Each statement cycle, your minimum repayment will be the total of:

  1. The greater of:
    1. 5% of the daily revolving balance as at the end of the statement cycle (excluding any amount by which your account is in arrears); or
    2. $100 or, if the daily revolving balance as at the end of the statement cycle (excluding any amount by which your Account is in arrears) is less than $100, that lesser amount; plus
  2. any instalment plan repayments due for the statement cycle; plus
  3. any amount by which your account is in arrears (other than any overlimit amount); plus
  4. any overlimit amount that exceeds the total of:
    1. any instalment plan repayments due; plus
    2. any amount by which your account is in arrears (other than any overlimit amount).

To be eligible to apply for Orange One Low Rate, you need to:

  • Be aged 18+
  • Earn $36,000 or more a year
  • Be an Australian citizen, New Zealand or Australian permanent resident
  • Have and maintain an Australian residential address
  • Have a good credit rating and meet our credit lending guidelines
  • Either hold an active Orange Everyday, or request to open one along with your Orange One Low Rate
  • Have PAYG payslips

Orange One Instalment Plans

Limitations and exclusions apply to the establishment of instalment plans, including minimum purchase values, number and term of instalment plans. Each monthly instalment repayment will form part of the minimum monthly repayment due on the regular payment due date. Eligible amounts exclude portions already added to an existing instalment plan, fixed monthly instalment repayments, cash advances, fees, interest charges, and amount in arrears. Changes can be made to the period of a plan within the initial 2 years and up to 3 times. Extra repayments can be made without incurring early repayment fees.
